Welcome back to BGTV.

This week we are spotlighting a special neighborhood of Laguna  . . .  Top of the World!

Disclaimer…We may be slightly biased because we live and are raising our two boys here.

It is without question one of Laguna Beach’s best-kept secrets. There is really nowhere else in Laguna where you can get the views, schools and that suburban feel like you do here. It is an active neighborhood with people commonly running, biking and walking their dogs. And Yes . . . kids are outside playing and riding bikes on the sidewalks . . . When is the last time you’ve seen that in Laguna??

Top of the World is home to some of Laguna’s best trails. At the north end are the Alta Laguna trails. It is also where Alta Laguna Park is located. There you will find a playground, basketball & tennis courts as well as a baseball & soccer field. At the south end, as you pass over the top of Bluebird you are led to a trail that leads you to Moulton Meadows Park and Arch Beach Heights. It is home to the highly-rated Top of the World Elementary School which overlooks the majestic Aliso Canyon.

In 2019 the lowest closed sale was 1.3 million while the highest was 3.7 million making it one of the most affordable areas in all of Laguna. Top of the world also has its own micro-climate. More times than not when it’s cold at the beach it’s sunny up here.

All in all, top of the world is a great place to raise a family and live an active lifestyle. It is quiet, has ample parking and is minutes from downtown, the village and of course our beautiful beaches. And as an added bonus…the trolley comes up here to drop you off curbside to the sand. If you would like more information on available homes or upcoming properties in Top of the World, feel free to contact us.

We will see you next time on BGTV!
